MR TING TECK JIN
joined the Board of EMS Energy on 8 January 2007 as Executive Chairman and also assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer on 19 June 2007. Mr Ting was re-elected to assume the roles on 26 April 2008. He is responsible for the strategic corporate direction and development of the Group. Mr Ting is currently Managing Director of Koastal Industries Pte Ltd and General Director of Koastal Eco Industries Co Ltd. Mr Ting has 20 years experience in the offshore and marine engineering industry and has spent a few years in Keppel Group shipyard operations in Singapore and Vietnam before founding Koastal Industries Pte Ltd in 1997.

An engineer by training, Mr Ting holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Marine Technology (First Class Honors) from the Newcastle University, United Kingdom.

MR LIM POH BOON
joined the Board on 1 June 2007 as our Non-Executive and Non-Independent Director. Mr Lim was re-elected on 26 April 2008. He has more than 25 years experience in operational management in the manufacturing business. Mr Lim is an associate member of the Malaysian Institute of Chemistry.

Mr Lim is currently the Vice President of the Malaysian Knitting Manufacturers Association, the Advisor for Chinese Chamber Of Commerce Batu Pahat, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, United Kingdom, a Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountant, United Kingdom, a senior associate member of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and also a Certified Insurance Professional (CIP). Mr Lim has a Bachelor Degree in Chemistry from Universiti Sains Malaysia and a MBA from Heriot-Watt University.

MR UNG GIM SEI
joined the Board on 31 August 2007 as our Non- Executive and Independent Director. Mr Ung was re-elected on 26 April 2008. He is a lawyer by profession and is a partner of KhattarWong, a Singapore law firm. Mr Ung is currently Independent Director of Informatics Education Ltd, a public listed company in Singapore. Mr Ung holds directorships in the Tan Kah Kee Foundation and the Singapore China Friendship Association.

MR LIM SIONG SHENG
joined the Board on 1 June 2008 as our Non-Executive and Independent Director. Mr Lim is presently a director of Shangyew Public Accounting Corporation where he is responsible for audit/ tax/ liquidation/ consulting matters undertaken by the corporation and has over 20 years experience in related fields. Mr Lim is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom and a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore. He is also a Fellow of CPA Australia and a Fellow of Insolvency Practitioners Association of Singapore.
